Our dog showed great improvement after only the first day of training. She showed marked improvement every day she went to Elevate Canine Academy. Ez and Clay did a superior job working with her. Not only did our dog learn a lot but my husband and I probably learned more than she did. Our dog looked forward to school each and every day. Alyssa Froehlich58 days agoMy husband and I are very happy with the trainers at Elevate. They took great care of our dog, (he did the 2 week training program) taught him basic obedience, and his overall temperament has gotten better. The communication was good and they were open to our questions and comments. They sent pictures of our dog being walked with other dogs, and sitting on his cot with a group of dogs as well. Being this was our first dog, we didn't know what to expect but are so glad that we sent him to them. We have signed up for more classes monthly. We trust Laura very much with our dog, and the other couple trainers he worked with as well. We know he is in good hands.Posted on Google

A70 days agoSo impressed with our puppies time at Elevate. She was only 6 months old but learned so quickly and gained a lot of self control. Everyone was extremely friendly and I greatly appreciated all the notes on how her day went and how much the staff enjoyed having Bettie there! Ashlynn Nichole120 days agoI would recommend Elevate Canine to anyone! I signed my dog up for the 3 week training program, mainly to help with his random aggression, but I also wanted help with improving his listening skills, nail trim desensitizating, not pulling on his leash, and overall being able to coexist with other people and dogs. Before Elevate Canine my dog and I mainly stayed home or had to go on a walk where no one else would be around - it was always a stress wanting to bring him in public around people, wanting to have people over, and/or not being able to go anywhere with him on trips, etc. After Elevate Canine, almost all of this stress has gone away and my dog is able to coexist with other people and dogs. There is still improvements to be had, but we have the tools now to keep working on it. My dog hardly ever pulls on his leash anymore, he listens after I tell him a command 1-2 times, and he now knows how to hold a place for long periods of times. He also was able to get his nails clipped for the first time in over a year or two, as he would never let anyone touch him/was fearful of the nail trimmers. Michaela, Laura, and Mandy loved and cared for my dog as their own, and I am so appreciative of them. They earned my trust immediately after day 1. I was able to text them with questions outside of working hours and they were always super willing and helpful. I'd give Elevate a 5 star rating and recommend them to anyone having similar struggles as I was. It is worth the investment! Seeing my dog get excited everyday when we would pull up to the building made my heart warm and says it all - I knew he was just having the best time learning with his new friends!Posted on Google

They emphasized that for my dog to be successful, I need to continue working with her at home and that changing her reactive and aggressive behaviors will take time. Shawn Hanson133 days agoOut dog Franklin is very anxious and would jump at other dogs with excitement, which turned into aggression. Since working with Elevate, his walks are now awesome and while he still gets anxious, he knows to 'leave it' and to 'heel'. Dan Volin162 days agoGracie is a four year old- high energy dog. She’s part lab- part puddle. I took her to elevate the previous two weeks and I could see an improvement with her walking immediately. She learned new skills and went to some strange places but I think she’ll be able to be out walking in his HH traffic areas in no time. For me it was worth it for her to go. Karmen Riley201 days agoHad a great experience. The staff were incredible and super helpful. I could tell that they truly cared and were very patient. They always asked how the night or weekend was and were always willing to answer questions and give suggestions. I loved that halfway through the training I had an hour long session with them and my dog. This was a huge help for me when practicing at home. They truly set you up for success!+0Posted on Google
Jenny Ellingson203 days agoAlvin, our 8 month old Chesie/lab mix, went through the two week program. The staff were amazing, they obviously have a love for dogs and always had his best interests in mind. They answered all our questions and recommended how to handle different challenges. They taught him how to be on his place bed or in the down position for up to 30 minutes, and we are working on a longer duration at home. I can now load the dishwasher without his assistance. He thinks twice before jumping on guests and the demand barking and whining has diminished immensely. Walking him is no longer a chore but something I enjoy. We hesitated because of the cost, but honestly it was worth the investment to have a dog that we can enjoy. We are so happy to have the tools and knowledge to know how to handle him. All of the trainers were great with Axel and very helpful in guiding us through the training process as well. Avi Valkova219 days agoWe signed our German Shephard mix up for Elevate's 2 week training program a few weeks ago and have seen a world of a difference. We've met with other trainers before, but have not seen the difference in him that we saw after Elevate's program, nor did we understand why he was having certain behavioral issues in the first place. The Elevate team was really great in not only working with our boy Fenny, but also in their patience with us to learn how to help him going forward. We are now able to go on calm family walks without the unease and anxiety of our dog being reactive or us having to worry about him in certain situations/around certain people.
